The compact metallic enclosure includes a standard SC/UPC connector. The transceiver uses 1310nm, 1490nm, or 1550nm for transmission in one direction and 1310nm, 1490nm, or 1550nm for transmission in the other direction. The transceiver may be used for bidirectional data links u to SFP 1.25Gb/s over single-mode fiber. All SFP modules now include Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM).This SFP transceiver is a brand product of Finisar. It is a multirate transceiver and can be used either for Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gb/s) as for the Fiber Channel protocol (1.06 Gb/s). but they have the same wavelength. They can be joined or be made into a single fiber or one strand in order to increase the throughput and make the performance even more efficient. It also becomes bidirectional (BIDI) so it’s able work on either direction.

 The characteristics are performed in accordance with Telcordia Specification GR-468-CORE.The SFP-S10 from AAXEON is the high performance and cost-effective module for serial optical data communication applications specified for single mode of SFP 1.25Gb/s transceiver. It operates on +3.3V power. The module is intended for single mode fiber, operates at a nominal wavelength of 1310nm, and complies with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP). Each module consists of a transmitter optical subassembly, a receiver optical subassembly, and an electrical subassembly. All are housed in a metal package and the combination produces a reliable component.
